This was posted here on May 6 (the night out was on May 2), but Ellen went to Japan on May 4 so I don’t understand it all. But I will see if i find photos from the “girls night out” :smile:

It looked like a girls’ night out for Drew Barrymore and screenwriter Diablo Cody at West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont. Earlier in the night, the two (along with Ellen Page) caught roller-derby sensations the L.A. Derby Dolls. The trio drank Pilsner Urquells from the can, exchanged high-fives with fellow fans and cheered on the athletes. Chalk the evening up to some (fun) research: Barrymore is slated to direct Whip It! (starring Page), about a female roller derby league.

i don’t know if you could find photos, since they didn’t let cameras into the doll factory (where the l.a. derby dolls played an all star game against the s.d. derby dolls) but i can tell you the three were definitely there, drinking their beers, throwing their fists in the air whenever anyone scored, talking to other fans in the crowd, and being just absolutely adorable.
