We will of course have the videos from the show and exclusive captures!

The long-running New York City-based sketch comedy series is scheduled to return on Feb. 23, the night before the Academy Awards in Los Angeles, after being forced into repeats in November by the writers strike.

The star of Juno is also scheduled to be one of four celebrities interviewed by Barbara Walters during her 27th annual Oscar special.

It was announced Monday that Page, Harrison Ford, Vanessa Williams and Miley Cyrus would be on the show scheduled to air Feb. 24 at 8 p.m. on ABC.

I like Ellen Page. She’s a relative newcomer to the block, but definitely has a point of view, and is not afraid to speak her mind. She says the way the media treats Britney Spears is sickening, and that she sympathizes with Brit because she could have found herself in a similar situation if she had started acting at a younger age.

Page was asked to relocate to LA to star in a sitcom at just 13, but turned down the role to finish school in her native Canada. She’s convinced that had she accepted the part, she could have been a victim of the paparazzi.

Naturally, everyone in Hollywood these days is still shaken over last week’s tragic death of Heath Ledger. Few, however, had been in touch with the actor recently quite like “Juno” star Ellen Page, who had been in talks to star in Heath’s intended directorial debut, “The Queen’s Gambit.”

“It was talked about,” the Oscar-nominated actress said of her possibly taking the lead role in an adaptation of the novel about an orphan who becomes a chess prodigy. “But, you know,” she sighed, shaking her head, “obviously, that’s not the [most important thing right now].”

Ellen’s movie The Tracey Fragments is getting a US release and that is nothing but positive news!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Tracey Fragments will be coming to U.S. theaters in May by way of ThinkFilm. Based on a novel by Maureen Medved, the movie stars Ellen Page of Juno, Hard Candy, and X-Men III as a self-loathing teenage girl trying desperately to find her lost nine-year-old brother who thinks he’s a dog. The film uses a non-linear narrative and split-screen to present the main characters thoughts. Director Bruce McDonald has several intriguing credits, including the punk rock faux documentary Hard Core Logo, as well as episodes of Degrassi: The Next Generation and the ultra bizarre science fiction series Lexx.
