Ellen has signed up for a third new project and it’s Peacock written by Lander and Ryan Roy. THis is how she described the new part – “This is one of the boldest screenplays I’ve come across in my albeit short career,” Page said. “It’s a character and story I can throw myself into and exactly the type of movie I love to be part of.”

I personally have always liked Cillian Murphy as an actor a lot and am thrilled that Ellen and he will work together

According to Variety, Page will star with Cillian Murphy is “Peacock,” a psychological thriller directed by Michael Lander and written by Lander and Ryan Roy.

Set in Peacock, Neb., Murphy will play a man with a split personality who fools a town into believing his dual personalities are actually a husband and wife. Page will play a young mother who knows some things about his past.

Filming on “Peacock” will begin in May, which means it slots into Page’s schedule in-between Sam Raimi’s “Drag Me To Hell” and “Whip It,” a roller derby film that marks Drew Barrymore’s directing debut.

She may be described as Hollywood’s next rising star, but Oscar nominee Ellen Page isn’t interested in being a celebrity.

“I don’t want that,” insists Ellen, who is up for a Best Actress Academy Award for Juno.

“I think if you want it and you want to live that way, you can. And you can also choose to totally not live that way. I’m from Nova Scotia. I don’t know, it’s just not me. And I think you can avoid it.”

She may be the toast of Hollywood, winning Oscar and Bafta nominations for her portrayal of a pregnant teenager, but Ellen Page also won over her co-stars in Juno.

“She’s just a beautiful and incredible actress,” said Jennifer Garner.

“The minute we started rehearsal, I thought, who are you, and where did you come from, and how did Jason find you? She’s gonna blow people out of the water. She’s going to be a very important actress.”

Allison Janney, who plays Juno‘s stepmum, had the highest compliment for Ellen.

“She reminds me of a young Audrey Hepburn,” she gushes. “There is something beautifully feminine about her and yet she’s playing this incredibly tough, cool character. She’s fearless. I’ve just been so impressed with her and I adore her. She’s amazing.”

Every now and then, we get caught up in one of these cool stories that turns us into the proverbial string in a game of telephone. There was the time we used your comments to help The Rock choose his Shazam! role, or that time we talked Zac Efron into give his fans a special wink. Now, we seem caught up in a love sandwich between “Juno” sweetie Ellen Page and punk rock pioneer Patti Smith.

You might remember the recent article we ran that had the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer thanking Page for a shout-out in the hit movie. Needless to say, when we told Page about the message from one of her idols recently, she was beside herself.

“Oh my God, that’s incredible!” the Oscar-nominated 20-year-old shrieked, swelling with so much pride that she nearly resembled her pregnant character. “That is really cool!”

With the Oscars looming, the Best Actress nominees have some major fashion dilemmas on their hands as they decide what to wear on the red carpet – but Ellen Page reckons she’s got it sorted.

“I’m really, really lucky,” she told reporters at the Academy Awards Nominees luncheon in LA.

“I work with wonderful people who really care about what I want and really just help me figure it out and relate (what I wear) to how I feel and how comfortable I feel in my style, I suppose, or lack of it, however they look at it!”
